Refund Policy

Summary

Refunds are tiered based on the number of days since your registration. The earlier you request, the higher the refund. After the published window for a cohort closes, refunds are no longer available.

How the tiers work

We use a tiered window measured from the date your registration was created in our system (not the date your payment cleared). At any point in time, your eligible refund is calculated as a percentage of what you've actually paid into the cohort, capped at the amount paid.

The exact tier amounts in force for the current cohort are managed by an administrator and are visible to you in your registration confirmation. Each cohort publishes its own schedule. Typical tiers look like:

  • Within 7 days of registration → 100% refund of the amount paid.
  • Within 14 days → 75%.
  • Within 30 days → 50%.
  • After the published window closes → 0% (no refund).

The tiers above are illustrative. The administrator may adjust them per cohort; the binding numbers are the ones we show you on registration and in our admin records.

How to request a refund

Email admissions@kavinoqacademy.com from the email address you registered with. Include:

  • Your full name as it appears on the registration.
  • Your registered email address.
  • Bank account details for the refund (account name, account number, bank name).
  • A short reason (optional but appreciated — it helps us improve).

We confirm receipt within one business day.

Processing time

Approved refunds are paid out within 10 business days from the date of approval. Bank transfer times are outside our control once the payment has been sent.

What we don't refund

  • Course access already used (lecture recordings, materials, etc.) is not refundable.
  • If you are dismissed for breaches of the code of conduct, no refund is offered beyond what the tier in effect at the time would have given you.
  • Bank transfer fees on the outgoing payment are the recipient's responsibility.

Disputes

If you disagree with how a refund decision was made, write to admissions@kavinoqacademy.com within 14 days of being notified. We review every appeal and respond within 14 days. If we still disagree, the dispute clause in our Terms of Service applies.
